Default Oil Pressure problem

ive noticed that ever since ive done a cam install my oil pressure hasnt been as high as it used to be. i just installed headers and new TB and i have just been noticing the oil pressure lately and getting kind of worried. when i start the car its at about 40 psi but as i go and get on the road i normal stay at 20 psi at all time except for when im about about 2500 rpm and even then its about 30 psi. it jumps around a lot like that and when im stoped or coasting im at 20 psi or so. anyone know what the problem is or might be?

Did you mess with the oil pump at all when you did your cam install? The o-ring is probably the culprit if you did.

Yup, you might want to get a new O-ring and install it just in case, even if your old one isn't torn.

I 3'rd the oring problem, it leads to a solution about 90% of the time in these "low oil pressure" threads.
