SES Light Help (Knock Sensor)
I just bought a 1998 Trans Am which is a bada** car by the way. GM made an awesome motor. Anyways, i had it taken to Autozone so they could do a computer diagnostics check since the ses light was on. The guy said that it was Knock Sensor 1 on Left Bank, Low Voltage. It made sense because the light sometimes comes on and sometimes stays off. Does anybody know how to go about checking the wiring and possibly the replacement of the sensor? Thanks
Matt

Knock sensors are under the intake manifold, you need to take off the intake to get to them. Just change both while you are there and put a bead of silicone around them when you are done.

Something doesn't sound right. Knock sensor codes are front and rear, not left and right.
Usually the 02 sensors throw a left and right bank code. I would hate to see you pull your intake and replace the know sensors when that may not be what is wrong.
What was the actual code (Pxxxx) that was thrown?
P0325 Knock Sensor (KS) System -B
P0327 Knock Sensor (KS) Circuit Front -B
P0332 Knock Sensor (KS) Circuit Rear -B
