Kooks builds me a custom Y-pipe to replace my FLP Y
I will post pics as soon as I get some.
My new 3"pipe maintains the front clamp/flange to the FLP header enters the Kooks merge collector and then uses a 3 bolt flange/gasket to hook up to my 3" SLP intermediate pipe.Plenty of room thru the Spohn torque arm brace.
I pull 3 bolts and the front clamps and the Y drops out for plenty of room for trans work.
I have to say that Kooks is a first class shop, neat, clean and orderly for such a big operation.Nick listened to what I wanted and did the job better than I expected.I can say that it came out BETTER than I expected,LOL.
BTW,all pipe mandrel bent with oval 3" where its needed so there is no floor banging.

Thats a helluva lot of room between the pipe and the brace! The merge also looks spot. If the welds look 1/2 on the inside as they are from the outside, it should be top notch.
