Default ls6 intake question????

what is the 3 prong sensor for at the back of the manifold.it is on the ls1 manifold, is the hole there on the ls6 intake too????? i think i forgot to but this on,****!!!!

been a while since install, a new sensor must come on the ls6 manifold as when i saw this on my ls1 intake thats been sittin under a pile of junk i thought i missed it,forgot it was even there. looked it up and this is an absolute pressure sensor,not sure what the feedback is used for?????

Manifold Absolute Pressure, or simply, MAP sensor. It continuously measures your intake vacuum (pressure). Changes in engine operation and speed effects the pressure readings in your intake. The computer uses this reading for fuel and timing calculations.

Oh, almost forgot...Yes, LS-6 intakes if purchased new come with a new MAP sensor.
