International Members - V8 Ute Rental anywhere in AU?

Hi guys. I'm here in Sydney and would really like to drive one:) Can't seem to to find one to rent. All the sportscar rental places think Ferraris are the sportscars:)

Have a look at "light Commercial trucks" in the Yellow Pages or the morning rag (morning newspaper advertisements) but I'd suggest the truck rental mobs only have the base V6 Utes.
Maybe one of the local lads might let you have a drive but where are you in Sydney?

Thanks for the info. I already checked those places and they only rent the V6 kind like you thought. I am staying at the Intercontinental Hotel right next to the Opera House on Macquarie St.

My office is in North Ryde, where I'll be during the day time in the weekdays.
