4l80e into a 72 Chevelle
So what kind of work do you think I'll have to do for a 4l80e to fit into my 72 Chevelle? It will be mounted on a 6.0l engine. I know that the 60e bolts right up but I'm hearing that the 4l80e can be a task to do.
Any help, pointers, links, or just anything would be great.

The 4L80-E has ears on the bellhousing that are used in some medium-duty truck chassis. These can get in the way of your primaries when running longtubes. They can be cut off.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit otherwise. A TH400 fits into those cars.
