Is there a free scanning software (or low priced)? I have Ls1_Scan, and it quite simply is so bug ridden it's almost unusable. It's telling me I am going 40mph faster than what I am..says I am in 8th gear (wtf?) and is showing me with 44 degrees of knock retard off idle (when my max retard is set at 10 degrees)
So I am looking for somehting just to scan and log. I already have editing and programming software.
I need this ASAP. Preferably today...so I'd like to find something I could download.

Google turns up a whole load of hits for 'free OBD-II scan'
though I can't tell you anything about any of 'em. The
cable is possibly an issue, you may have to download
that one via the brown truck....
