Default Will I need to tune after my ST3500 Install?

I have purchased:

ST3500
B&M Tranny Cooler
Trans-Go Shift Kit

Hooker Longtube headers
ORY
02 Sims, EGR Block off.

Will my predator tuner be enough for these mods? I can change shift points, shift firmness, shift time, Spark Timing/Fuel, etc.

My question is, will I have to tune my car (With something other than the predator) in order to make my car work ok with the ST3500?

I am hoping that I wont need to buy ls1edit right now because i cant afford it. Will the converter just go in and work (with exception of shiftpoints being altered).

Thanks!!!

I did not require any tuning at all with ST 3500.

I can't say for sure but with my vig 3800 a basic tune made a huge improvement.

I had virtually the same mods as you. I did not get a re-tune because LS1Edit was not available at the time. I used a HPP3 to change the shift points and raise the rev limiter. I ran it with a SY3500 and no HPP3, but was hitting the rev limiter. The shift point changes and rev limit change made a huge difference. I ran 12.32 at 111mph with FLPs, cutout, lid, SY3500 and the HPP3 tuning. My car was also running very rich.

I don't know about the ST3500 but my SSF3500 had unlocking issues due to misfires that a Predator won't be able to cure. So if you care about highway driving then you'll need a tune. But if you don't have any unlocking issues then you'll be fine and everything I just said is useless. Also, why would you want LS1edit, Hptuners Rocks.

It was not needed after my yank 3600e. You will get better performance if you change your shift points but I would wait until I got some more mods before I go for a tune.
