Default Patriot Performance valves

Hey Gunnar,

Can you supply complete specs for the valves you are using for the LQ9 stage II heads (which I have) and include the name, address and phone number of the supplier? My research so far indicates that the 23-8N alloy is "medium duty".

Thanks in advance,

RAN

Cant you email Gunnar for this information instead of paging him on the board?

Thanks,
Chris

Actually, I wouldn't mind knowing. I have a set of Patriot S2 LS1 heads with their valves, springs, etc. I for one would like to know if they used sub-standard valves, or if the manufacturer just had a bad batch.

It's ok to post the information after you get it for us all to see but paging people on the board is not encouraged. That is why there is email/PMs

really didn't have a whole lot of meaning technical....i just THOROUGHLY enjoy redundant posts....it wasn't about just this post. its always nice to go back and say...hey, i found the answer to my question...and share it. instead of posting a question in four places and letting threads continue and clutter the board. its a minor issue really, just a little vent. lol. not meant to make anything out if it...

For some info we installed a set of Patriot LQ9 heads on a customer car last April. He is running a .600 lift Cam and rev's to 6800rpm pushing 600+ RWHP.The car has around 10k hard miles on it with no problems from the valve/spring setup.

Great. Thanks. But I would still like to know the name and phone number of the supplier of PP valves.
