Question Need help installing main studs?

When I bought this 408 shortblock used it already had main studs that I think are ARP? Usually ARP has there name on the top of their bolts but these dont? Either way I dont think it will matter as far as the torque specs goes right and install.

How do I install these, do the longer studs go on the end?

What are the torque specs?

thanks

It doesn't sound like you should be installing main studs to me, but if you do a search you can find this information, I also think ls1-howto.com has a complete torque spec list.

I dont think ls1howto.com has tq specs on arp main studes. I am would think that most of the sponser would have the Tq specs on hand. Just call one of them.

Here is a pic of my motor with arp main studs. Hope this helps. I believe the inside bolts were 65#'s and I don't remeber the outer torque specs, I want to say 45#'s but I would call ARP and get specific torque specs.

Cheers.
