Default lid question?

i have a question about my lid....it says SLP on it in the center...and in the bottom right-hand corner it says BlackWing.is this SLP's aftermarket lid? and also will a new lid net me anymore gains? TIA. P.S. i already read JRP's induction guide and i know a lid is a lid is a lid, but from personal experience any diff? thanks again.

blackwing is who made the lid. same ppl who make the corvette blackwing intake setups. SLP just sells them. pretty much you nailed it, a lid is a lid is a lid.

The SLP lid is an aftermarket lid, which gets you the same 5-7rwhp if I recall correctly.

yea, right now i'm in between jobs as well. i just got hired at a new gym near my house but it doesn't open for a month and a half til then i'm damn near broke

if you already have the SLP lid, i'd just stick with it. no reason to switch lids unless you know you can sell the SLP to someone and get a pretty good chunk of money for it.

Blackwing is the stock SS lid. If you are looking for a swap, I have an aftermarket SLP lid I have been using that is in excellent shape. I would gladly trade you and pay shipping.

SLP lid is the aftermarket lid....if its SLP embossed the same color as the rest then it is a SLP SS which there were...-and if its the SLP lid with white letters its the other aftermarket....one came form the factory the other had to be purchased....no difference as well
