Street Racing & Kill Stories - Cocky Mach goes down

First off, let me say i almost fell asleep cause it took him 15 mins to look over my car before we ran. Made me pop my lid, unplug my IAT sensor, etc, rediculous. Anyway he thinks hes fast, also claims he's not spraying but nobody can look over his car (people have verified a 150 shot). Finally we agree on a 40 roll...he asks me if i want to put money on it. I laugh.

He is a major tool, and I have called him out MANY times on MANY boards. I dont think he has been "verified" to have a 150 shot however. People claim he does have the juice because he has kept up with LS1's on the juice. He is a super shady character and makes up excuses of about how his tires are in houston, and how he will run a car he knows is faster ONLY if he gets a car headstart AND the move!!! I know this Mach 1. It IS on the hose. Very well hidden 5# bottle under the rear seat and the nozzle is in the right front fender tapped into the CAI. It is a well hidden setup. Built rear with 4.30s. Car was observed at SAR running 12 flat on M/T streets. looked to have a bad posi at the time (Only spining one tire during burnout) It is a fast car but the kid seems wet behind the ears. Nice Kill

Looking to get a base tune, which I need VERY bad. Then looking for an additional tune after some heads/cams. Know of any good shops for stangs in that area.

well most people down here use Tweaker of their own programs like Diablo sport to tune everything out.

But shop wise, we have Houston Performance, Westside Mustang, and Strictly Performance.

Over all, i would suggest strictly, they do well with everything, but their price for their services is VERY high... but good work has came out of the other guys as well.

off topic again but we at team JDM just tuned a stock mach with a K&N drop in to a impressive 301hp and 330 tq. this is with the new SCT software.

Oh my , this is crazy. This kid has been talking crap to me for weeks. This was a big deal Friday night at HRP. Yep, he is definitely a tool. He called me out. I'm basically a stock z28 with a few mods running on DRs. He acted like he was completely stock and wanted to run me for $75. I started checking his posts on the Mach 1 Registry and other boards and was led to believe he was spraying. I asked him over and over if he was on the NOS. I've never seen anyone dodge a question like he did. He said I could check his car if I wanted and then we'd race. From what I've read, other than the lines and the bottle being hidden, he also purges during his burnout against his radiator. Once he wouldn't be honest, I told him all bets were off and then he challenged the pewter TA who took him down and :owned: him. What an awesome kill that was. Of course there were plenty of excuses as to why he lost. Unbelievable.

I'm so glad this guy got his butt kicked!! He gives every racer a bad name, not just Mach 1 owners. There are a lot of good people out there that race that are up front and honest, but this guy isn't one of them. I'm just glad I found out before I became another one of his victims.

This thread is awesome because now I can see how much everyone knows about him and how everyone feels about him. He has more of a reputation than I thought. One of this days he is going to get his butt kicked when he hustles the wrong person and I won't feel sorry for him at all.
