Ok first off i know its kinda sorta illegal and all, but lets just say, ya know theoretically that is  , that i have a source for medical grade nitrous, is there any advantage? Considering we fill nitrous here at the shop i can do a 15 lb bottle for myself for <$20, paying twice as much for the med stuff is a big extra expense. Has anyone done this, if so any advantages/disadvantages?

From everything that I have read, there is zero advantage from medical grate N2O.

That is what we use here. No sulphur added and no difference either. Except you can inhale it (LOL) :jest: which is why they put sulphur in it in the US. No WHIPPETS.
However sulphur is corrosive and I rather not have it accumulate in my chambers.

Yeah i had the same thinking about the sulfur. You lucky sob's, just go to the corner store and pick ya up some happy gas, hold the sulfur. Do the convience stores sell pre-rolled blunts too? :smokin2:
Edit: While we're on the subject, anybody ever had any problems or heard of any issues with the sulfur in N2O affecting the motor itself? I mean youd have to like live on the spray, but just curious.

You need to be careful with medical grade. Even posseing it without a licence is a potential felony.
Just use the Nitrous +

Been there done that, got out of it. Not looking to test my luck again. Didnt know that. I thought it was only the sale of it they were scetch about. Yeah probably not worth the risk. I mean, if it like prevented detonation totally and made a 100 shot like a 150 shot, maybe then, but hell with it. :chug:

there is no performance advantage but there is a big advantage if you street race since you cant smell it. i used it for a while like this on the street with a hidden kit. after the run, you couldnt smell it so know one could tell if you sprayed them or not.

i can get medical if i really wanted, but the price is the problem. i don't think the sulpher is a problem, its not like u run it but for at most a minute a week. nitrous is illegal to have installed here anyway, so ur screwed medical or not.

You need to explain this one.
How did a cop know it was medical and not industrial?

maybe the cop inhailed some.. acually, there was another post about this guy that got a felony for having a nitrous bottle in the trunk. some cops are not that smart.

the law states that a presurized cyllinder needs to be clearly labled when in transport, that could be part of the problem.

:jest: Sorry, should have clarified. I meant a felony possetion charge in general, not specific to medical N2O. (weed related, no im not a crack head or anything :) ) . That was a pretty good while back though. Learned my lesson well (to the tune of about $4000 in legal fees).
By the way, in NC, there are no formal laws on the books about nitrous. We have a cop who works here at the shop part time, and also a state trooper who is a very regular customer and Ive had them do some pretty extensive checking.

I like this Idea, as I have two bottles mounted in my car! I could make one line stop under the seat with a noid and purge alittle at a time inside the car! Win or lose the race I will be slap happy! Talk about a lady pleaser as the fog shoots out for under the seats! Oh yeah I have some work to do have to go! :judge: :jest:
