Default Which Do You Think Would Make More Power?

I have two different exhaust setups ... I have the stock cats with the stock flat Y pipe And an SLP Loudmouth ... or i have a bassani y pipe setup wiht no cats and a SLP Dual Dual exhaust with the # inch inlet.... I put the muffler on after removing the cats and driving it with the loudmouth ... it was stupid loud ... it wasnt even funny ... my friend has a longtube setup with no cats and a loudmouth and mine was louder we compared ... it was odd ... But which do you think would make more power ?? stock cats and y with loudmotuh ? or no cats with the "sleeper" exhaust from SLP??? Thanks guys!!!

The DD muffler flows pretty well on a stock car so I would say the !Cats DD setup would be better. But with a mildly modded car your not gonna get much by removing the cats.

But if one was gonna be on top hp wise what do you think it would be?? the loudmouth was a little louder but the no cats and the muffler just has the hollow sound ya know?? sounds sweet....

I think they will be very close in power (with maybe only the rpm range at which the power is made changing slightly?).
I do think the D/D with no cats might sound slightly better than the LM with cats but power wise it might just be too close to call because the D/D muffler probably flows slightly better than stock cats and maybe equal to high flow cats provided neither cats are clogged yet the LM will likely flow better than the D/D.
You would probably only need/want a cut out if going with the D/D set up.

The D/D will sound a helluva lot better than the Loudmouth w/o cats. I would run the SLP D/D.

Yes, but he's comparing the D/D without cats to the LM with cats.
Both sound good but the D/D set up should sound better IMO.

Stock cats and stock y pipe with loudmouth.... or an off road y with dual dual and a cutout ??? But my question was without the cutout will it make more power?
