Default What has to be done to fit 02 headers on a 00 SS

Hey,

Im parting out my 2002 Transam and my freind has an 00 LS1 . What has to be done to fit the 2002 headers with AIR tubes to the 2000 SS camaro ?

Um..well he can either fabricate and weld on the attachments for EGR/AIR, or just remove the the EGR n AIR, having removed the cats for the !AIR would help but not required

i read taht if you HAVE cats then do not remove the AIR..

I wouldn't think too much would have to be done.

The 2000 has AIR "tubes" aswell. So, that wouldn't be a problem. Now, if he keeps EGR than he doesn't have anywhere to hook it up to the headers, since 01+ Camaros do not have EGR.

Yes, just remove or block the EGR all together. Its the only way to go. Why not just trade them for 98-00 headers?...Actually what kind of headers are they?... I think I may have an exra one from JET HOT ..Passenger side with EGR in Good condition. The other side was bent badly from a crash so I just took the headers off and bought a new car.. Let me get back to you..
