Thanks Guys!
Shipping was $322.59! Was expecting 150-$200.
When I get everything in, It's gonna be like getting a new car. Doing an A4-M6 conversion at the same time too. Still need to figure out what Clutch and Drive Shaft to get. Should be my last two pieces to buy to get her back on the road.

Damn... That is 64 lbs heavier than my 8.8 rear end. I was expecting 210 lbs max for the 12 bolt.

I like that this Strange rear came with the Torque arm mount molded into the case and not welded on. It also came with brake line brackets provisions for the ASR wiring etc. and fully assembled ready to bolt in, looks OEM.

Man that sucks, I paid 70 bucks to have my 9" shipped to me in four different boxes that weighed 199lbs across three states via ups.

Yeah that does suck, how much did the rear end wind up costing you total?

I see the scam continues...I bought a Strange going on 3 yrs ago, I was assured by the reseller (a sponsor here) of a low shipping charge, and I paid in the the low 300's as well.
It's not Strange's fault - but the reseller s/b informing people how freight shipping & deliver work and not be low-balling the charges.
BTW, enjoy the axle. I took the time to degrease, rough up, and paint it while on the pallet. Painted the center section with one of the bare metal colored paints, and the tubes and backing plates red.
