Shift point question
I posted a question in another thread but I don't think it's getting looked at. My question is: what should my shift points/rev limiter be set at with full bolt-ons, TCI 3800 stall, and 3.73 gears?
After a lot of searching I saw Ragtop and the Colonel recommend 6200 with a stock cam and headers, setting the rev limiter at 6400. I just wanted to double-check this, and to see if it's still accurate if I have a big stall with 3.73s.
Thanks guys!!!

I have mine set at 6200, 6400 rev limiter also. I wouldn't go much higher than that with stock springs. I have 4200 stall w/3.73's
What kind of times are you running right now? Beating up on AXE yet?

Haven't had it to the track yet. I'm waiting to get my F.A.S.T. intake and ported TB on first, so I can get some tuning done. Hopefully I'll give Axe some competition he can't handle Just have to borrow some tires first.

I set my rev limit to 6600 and shift at 6500 in 1st with a stock engine and heads. I replaced the springs as they were too soft from factory. Engine still runs sweet after 22000KMS.
