Well, I finally got the car out to the track tonight. I have a 00 Formula with full boltons and a cam. I ran the car with my boy and posted a 14.1. LOL! The track is not marked and I let off way too early (looks like three finish lines.) Anyway I had a 1.76 60 ft. and a 14.1 at 94mph and the worst thing is the track closed before I could run again. My sixty foot looks funny with that freakin 14.1. I am sure with the back seats out, no friend, and now that I know the track I could run a whole lot better. Anyway I thought I would share my embarrassing night since everyone in El Paso knows. Oh and the elevation is 4000 ft.+ here. UGH. I will post some real times hopefully next week. :(

A 1.76 60 ft is pretty good for tracks around here, this must have been Thunder Alley. I have yet to break a 1.9 60 ft even with a set of 26" hoosier QTPs (of course the 400+ lb-ft of torque at 3000 rpm make traction hard). I think thunder is at ~4200 ft and usually has a Density Altitude of 7000-9000 ft. Nothing wrong with the 14.1 at 94 mph but obvously a little slow for that 60 ft. Most stock f-bodys do a 14.1 at 98 mph with a 2.1-2.2 60 ft at TA or Arroyo Secco.
