New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Did any one race with 350Z TT?

want to see how powerful is 350Z? they said it is 415 hp with twin turbo.

i've driven the stock 285hp performance models...they're quick. the TT models put down more then 415. if you're talking about aftermarket that is. i've seen magazines claim 615rw in a turbo 350z.

TT models? Your making it sound like it came factory stock with turbo's.

I've driven the base Z. Fastest one since it weights the less. Think of it as a 2-seater 04 GT. Not fast at all. Sounded good and handled well, but not fast. There was one at Englishtown a couple weeks ago, ran mid 11's. Talk about a lot of money for a Z06 with LT's.

There was one at Englishtown a couple weeks ago, ran mid 11's but trapped VERY high. They are like Supras, all top end with the turbos. Do not understimate the well built ones. There was a guy at ls1.com that raced a blown G35 coupe and kept up with him in his stock C5.........

Any car can be fast, stock Zs are slow as dog shit.

I raced one awhile back I don't know if it was tt but it was turbo, I can hear it when he revved. raced him twice from 2 stoplights I dont know if it was turbo lag or what but I walked both times, said he was "runnin high 12's". he had some power, but he was nothing special.

Man, If I TT a car, I would want to be able to blow away most cars And not still lose to an ls1 with a cam/cobra with a pulley.

That is not a number to be proud of, at least I wouldn't be. Does it have an intercooler?

Those cars are really close to their limit as far as power goes. You can bolt on all you want and maybe get an extra 10HP. I hear a 1k exhaust system will yield 2 HP if you're lucky...many people who buy them are real disappointed with the aftermarket gains they get. The TT kits will yield low 400rwHP #'s. To get anywhere near 600rwHP you would have to drop in a new 4.3L block along with the TT and run pretty high boost....total coming to a bit over 20G after all is said and done....

No they dont use N20, or Nitrous....They use NAAAWWSS.

There is a guy in my neighbor hood that has one with gay graphics, its lowered (excuse me 'slammed'), and has some type of exhaust on it. It sounds good when he drives past my house. I want to talk to him one day but havnt had a chance. Maybe I will try to catch him and see what all he knows about his car. I would assume some people do use Nitrous on them, but you have to remember these are better perfoming and less expensive look-alike sports cars from our overseas friends so if they want a fast import I would assume the Z is not the way to go.... and most people that have these are middle aged and have it too look young.
