98 ls1 oil pressure sensor pin outs?

Default 98 ls1 oil pressure sensor pin outs?

what pin out is for the signal? for a 98 LS1 engine, there are 2 pins

Oil Level Sensor Signal is the brown wire. I'm not sure what pin that is.

i have a painless harness it dont have a oil pressure connecter on it, so i got one from the dealership but both wires are black, i need to know the pine outs i cant go by the color, will it be okay if i just try wiring up one wire at a time till i get a signal on the guage cluster? or am i going to short somting out?

If it is not raining here on Friday, I'll find out for ya. That's my only day off, so that will be the only time I can get pull the sensor and check it out.

Alright, sorry for the delay. The brown wire (hell, it might be a dirty white wire from all I can tell) is the signal wire and it goes to the pin that is closest to the connector clip (the little clip you have to lift to remove the connector from the sensor). So on the sensor, it would be the pin thats closest to the little tab that the clip slides over. Am I making any sense? I tried taking photo's but they all sucked and were blurry. If you need any more info, just let me know. I might be able to try and take pics again tomorrow(Sunday).

so the wire colsest to the plug clip is the signal wire, than thats all i needed to know thanks for all your help man, now if i can get this damn engine to start
