Default TH350 using clutch take off?

Anyone ever seen a TH350 that uses a Manual Clutch to take off and then shifts manually? A buddy of mine has one on his pro-street Camaro and just wondering if anyone uses them and where can I get some information on them?

I used a clutch turbo (turbo 400) and a clutch fight (727 chrysler) 15-20 years ago. I didnt think anyone was doing that anymore It was a pain to setup, bellhousing alignment is critical, never had real good luck with it to be honest but it did work. I havent seen one in years, I really dont think anyone is making them anymore but you never know..
