Default Does HPP3 clear codes

I know there is no way to clear the code with the HPP3 persay. However....

I had a 'service engine soon' and a code for the catalytic convertor being clogged. I put the ECM back to stock before taking it to the dealership and the 'service engine soon' light is now out. Did the HPP3 clear it when returning it to stock programming? I did not think it would...

when it reflashes the PCM, the codes are automatically cleared and the readiness tests are all set to not complete.

That is what I figured.

I had an SES and checked the code and it was with my catalytic converter (probably clogged) I restored it to stock before going to dealership (duh!) and no code when they checked and I have a 46.00 fee I paid and still have a catalytic converter problem. I have to wait until it throws a code again.

Thanks. I suspected as much and just wanted confirmation
