if anyone is intersted, i have a VFN carbon fiber hood i just bought for my SS, but i am now selling the car to persue a new project car. it is a 3" SS bolt on hood. it is sitting in a rack in our warehouse, and i guess i'll put it on here first since some of you are interested before i post it in parts for sale. i don't remember what it costs now, because i didn't really pay for it in cash. i remember it was expensive needless to say, so i traded a 94 Z28 shell for it straight up. very nice piece. i have not touched it, and it comes with the factory GM air intake grill. these hoods however do not have the ducting to bring the air to the lid like a factory SS, but it looks very tough. there are a few shots of the hood on their website. one of the cars is Agostino's silver car that runs mid 8's!!! anyway, i'll post a pic or two to anyone who is interested. just let me know. i'll check back here the next couple days. i'll call VFN to find out there price, and i'll post it up here for a bit less, if anyone shows interest.

later,
Dave

For anyone interested in a hood, you can also contact rex orr on the board. Rex is the owner of ASCD and makes a good quality hood.

I am sure you will be able to get more accomplished in the correct section. It will also benefit the members who check the feedback section prior to making a purchase. For those of you who have had a problem with that member, please keep us updated in that topic. Thank you.
