Default Possible to disable rear ABS?

I already took off the TCS module in my car, but I still have ABS and would at like to keep it in front at the very least.

Can I order a 9inch without ABS/TCS sensors and still get decend braking (abs in front?) wihout the abs inop light????

This is only what I have heard, I think ABS is all or none. I do not have ABS due to my 9".

i had a 10 bolt in my car that had abs/no trac control..and it got swapped out to a 4 channel so i dont have abs in the back but i think the said that its still in the front..not sure though, i do know that the pedal pulses on its own when i brake hard..

Listen i brought this up and people though i was nuts.

Look in you Gm Service manual all ABS seams to be is a on/off signal no a mv value.

If i am right you should be able to go to the wiring harness and jump the pins four hi/lo to one of the front wheels. that in turn should turn off the light on the dash. I am going to try it soon when i get a chance.

i do not think it will effect the breaks because the PCM will still see feedback for the too sensors in the front.

What do you think?

I would like to know how this works out for you if you try this in your car. I am going to buy a new 9" for 1500 to bolt in my car but i dont think it will have the 4 channel set up that i have now. So i have been wondering about the abs not worried about the tcs. If the front would still work that would be excellent. Keep us posted if you try it.
