Stall RPM question with STS turbo....
I am planning on getting a STS turbo kit for my '98 A4 SS. Eventually it will be a H/C/I car along with the STS, but for the time being it will be turbo only. What would be a good stall RPM to compliment the turbo? It makes full boost around the 3000 RPM range and max torque should be in the 450ish range at about 4-4200 RPM.
Thanks in Advance!

Thats odd, I talked to PI about a Vig. converter and they rec. a 2400-2800 and by that chart Yank is rec. a 3400-3600. Anybody know what would cause such a drastic difference, or is it just manufactor opinion?

if youre launching under full boost you will probably want a full suspension and sticky *** tires. if you dont have any, or only some, of that then you probably want to launch a little below your boost threshold in order to gain traction.
when you do the h/c you may want a higher stall to compliment your new powerband and again: the suspension and tires will do wonders for your traction.
