How do I get a sample of higher MAF frequency?? (what kind of driving sample)
OK, I managed to calculate a new MAF translation function for my car based on LTFTs and MAF frequency vs Mass Airflow in g/sec, but my 20-minute part-throttle driving sample only includes MAF frequency ranges from 2000Hz to 8000Hz, so I think the line-of-fit may be a little off in the higher ranges as a result.
How do I get higher MAF frequency ranges? Do I need to go WOT? I was trying to stay away from open loop/PE mode as much as possible when taking the sample. Am I going about obtaining the sample incorrectly?
Also, does the PCM ever change the translation function, or if I download the current MAF translation function, will it be the same later after I've driven on it for a while?
Thanks in advance.
