I've heard of people using Frost King insulation that you can buy from the Home Depot or Lowes. It's cheaper and lighter than Dynamat.

I took a look at that frost king insulation the other day at Lowes. It looks like pretty good stuff. I'm gonna try it out when I get the time to rip out the interior. The stuff brand name had changed at the home depot I went to, but it still has the same stock number as the frost king insulation. I can't remember what it is off the top of my head, but if you do a search for sound dampner, the stock number is listed in one of the threads, and you can run the number through the Lowes website to see what the brand has changed to. The SKU number is 28929.

I bought my B-quiet extreme on ebay. $99 for 100 sq. ft. You can't beat that price with a stick.

I used Peal n Seal from Lowes. I paid about $1/sq ft. It stunk to high hell for a month afterwards. However, the stink has died off and I am pleased with it now. I only used 50 sq ft to do the doors, rear seat, and hatch area. If I had needed 100 sq ft, I would have bought the B-quiet extreme on ebay for $99. It is a good deal and is made for the application, unlike the Peal and Seal or Frostking.

So, if you want to do the whole interior, or plan on using 100 sq ft, buy the B-quiet from ebay. However, if you only need 40 sq ft like I did and want to save some money, buy the Peal and Seal from Lowes for $40.
