Default mustang boss goes down

So there i was driving on the highway last night, when up ahead i see this boss mustang and i pull up next to him, and i know he noticed cause i was haling *** and i hit the brakes and slow down and stayed right next to him. Well it seemed like he was no go so i just droped it into fift and kept going well like a min latter he comes up next to me and i could hear he was holding the car in gear so i am like wow wow horsy take it easy now fella, so i droped it back into fift not to race him but to let him know that i saw him and not to get to crazy or else, well i emediately hear him give it gas, and he goes wot. Well at that point i was wow horsy this is goign to hurt you more than me, i go down to forth, steped on it cath up to him and loss him in my rear view mirror. Wich was a shame i wanted him to catch up to me so i could give him thums up for the good time.

ok now for the illustrations using a tried an true method
o speed here will be 80 miles per our, i mean starting speed

me: =
boss:*

plus few cars in betwen represented by imaginary dots. lol not the most impresive kill ever but it was fun specially since i just got my car back from the shop, if you actually follow the ilustration you'll nocited in the last one he actually was going in reversed and lost some ground, lol

i have a t/a and the guy had a last generation boss

Not many "Boss" Mustangs around. Probably just a kit car, unless you ran into a true "Boss", the Team Mustang Boss goes 10.5's "stock" The last gen Boss' are basically just Shinoda graphic cars.

If it was a 96-98 with exhaust it was MAYBE putting down 210-220 max. They are dog slow.

So basically, the 96-98 was slightly slower than a newer stang GT?

Thats kinda sad for such a "rare" car. haha...

The 96-98 GT's are MUCH slower than the newer GT's. The Boss is a VERY rare mustang, and this version he ran (if it is, and I have no reason to believe it was a REAL Boss) is nothing more than a Shinoda graphics GT. All show and no go.

Well, I thought that the 96-98 GT's had 215(96,97) and 225(98) hp... You said that the Boss's put around that to the ground... So, I figured it was a little faster. But still slower than the newer GT's...

i don't know about that one but i do know a guy, well i met him once he came into my bank, he had a genuin boss supercharge and everything sopose to put like 460 hp or something like down. So yea the boss sc is a bad car, not just bad, nasty bad it better be he told me is like an extra $20k to send a regular gt to boss for the custom job.

Oh no, sorry if I confused you, I just meant that a 96-98 GT with full exhaust puts down MAYBE 210-220.

My old GT (97) put 178rwhp on my dyno with exhaust, cai, tb. Yeah those cars are definatly not up to par with the new ones. Those cars put down around 225-235 stock. My GT went 13.80's on slicks and trapped at 99mph. Put it on the rev limiter and drop the clutch was the only way to get that car to even move!!!

I agree. it probably was a 96-98 shinidoa boss. Just a 4.6 GT with stickers and badges, plus a chin spoiler. the pre-99 GT's are not fast when stock. Their heads are cra*. generally they are mid-high 14 second cars. New 99 plus mustang GT's are low 14's high 13's. Good kill tho.
