Default Head W/ Light Cam

Has anyone done a Stage 2 head with a light cam-
(Patriot(upgraded valve)
DUR @ .004" 272*/280*
DUR @ .050" 210*/218*
LIFT .551 / .551
OVERLAP 52*
LSA 112*

Does anyone have any ideas how much might i pick-up with this cam. I know this is a light cam, almost the Z06 cam, but I'm told it should make a bit more hp, but alot of Torque down low & mid RPM's. If true, this is what I'm looking for with a stock idle

Colonel makes 430 RWHP through an auto with stage 2 heads and a stealth II cam.

Your cam will NOT have a stock idle.

Not even close.

For a stock idle, you need to try a cam in the 116+ LSA range (Z06 and SII come to mind).

its not gonna have a stock idle on a 112lsa... being so small, and on a 112, its gonna peak kinda low, maybe 5500... but it will make a killer midrange... if u want more of a stock idle, i'd try a TR220/114, or MTI's SS1

It Will have a near stock idle.... LSA is not the only thing that determines stock idle quality. This cam has only a overlap of 52 or 48, i forget...
but thanks for the input....

I havent done any heads/cam yet, but I looked long and hard at that cam and its hard to beat for what it is designed to do. I will be putting in a custom self-designed cam in the near future, but that cam is as very good choice for streetability. You might also look at a 212/212 comp XE high lift. Another very good torquer with an even better idle.

I heard a lunati cam on a 114 about that same duration.

It didn't sound anywhere near stock.

You will be very disappointed if you think that will sound stock.

It Will have a near stock idle
Whatever.

I'm done.
