Default Looking for converter recommendations!

2002 Camaro Z28, RARELY driven. I've owned it since new and it only has 10k on the clock. 75% of those miles are 1/4 mile passes and the trip to/from the track. I can sacrifice some driveability but I don't want it to be a complete unstreetable racecar.....

Mods:

TR230/224 Cam with TR Pushrods, comp 918 springs, Ti Retianers and edit tuning (Stock unported heads)
MAC headers with ORY, all emmissions equipment deleted
Cutout
MTI Airlid
SLP 85MM Maf
2.73 gear stock 10 bolt (I know, I know! I can't see paying $2000+ for a 12 bolt)
SLP SubFrame Connectors
Centerline Warrior 15x8.5 wheels with BFG Drag radials for the back
Soon to be adding tubular LCA's and a PHR

I think it's time to step up from the current Yank TT2800/3.0 converter to something a little more matched to the cam. I know the gears will hold me back but I'd like to run LOW 12's with the current setup if possible without changing the rear gears. Say a 12.00, possible? My current best is 12.6 but my 60' is a horrific 2.0 at BEST on drag radials or full slicks.
