I wonder if I can hook my car on a 26 if I play with the suspension.

I went 10.0 at 138 on 26x11.5x15 ET streets with a 1.44 sixty foot. Only suspension was the 12 bolt (with eaton posi) LCA's, QA1's, Panhard. Stock Tq arm and rear sway bar.

10.35@132 1.5 sixty then 10.42@136 with 1.45 sixty spun with 28x10.5x15

Why do you want to go from a 28 to a 26. That seems like you are going backwards.
You are losing the front to back footprint of the tire that way.

I dont think a 26 inch tire would be the way to go with your setup. Didn't you make 700 rwhp with your combo? Shakedown passes on a motor I just rebuilt using the exact same crank that came with the car when it was new we went well in the 9's with a 28 inch tall tire and a 1.34 60'...still plenty left in the car. Your mph might come up if you get your 60 foot down....it did for me anyway.

John why only 3.50 gears??? I wouldn't go smaller tires, I would go bigger gears. 3.50 will give a high mph, but 4.30 should help in the 60' and 1/4 et.

A 3.70 would be better for my goals but a 3.50 gets better gas mileage.

Hmmm... I don't see you hooking if you're spinning the 28s all ready for a 1.59 though.

What are you spinning the motor to right now?? Have to keep the 140+ goal in line with the tire and rear gear. :D
