Default Any way to delete cruise control for one-wire TB?

I have a 2000 SS with cruise-control. I want to clean up the engine bay and getting the three throttlebody-wires that cross the engine bay are part of my efforts. Is there any way to convert it over to the one-wire style like non cruise-control cars? What I'm really looking for is a write-up. Thanks- Mike W.

I removed mine and all you need to do is go to the dealer and buy a non cruise car throttle cable. It will run directly from the gas pedal to the T.B..you are done.

Because it looks better. I have alot more stuff done besides removing this cable as well. Besides, its for slow cars (AHEM!!)

Thats the traction control and cruise control model. Get rid of the traction control and keep you cruise control. Still two wires but no more motor in the way.

There are three wires total now. One wire will run to the pedal, so what other wire do you leave and how do you remove it from the motor? The motor is the black cylinder piece next to the AC drier right?

You will have a cable that runs from the pedal to the tb and a cable that runs from the cruise control module(infront left fender, out of sight) to the tb. Thats the motor beside the ac. I dont think you will have to buy a new cruise control module; i believe the cable comes apart in the middle, not 100%. If it does you would only need new throttle cable and the other half of the cruise control cable.

if you want to delete tcs and cc then all you have to do is purchase a throttle cable for a non tcs car, probably about $15-$20 for the single cable. If you just want to delete the tcs and still have cc then buy the throttle and cc cable for a non tcs car, cc cable is around $20-$25. You will need to pop the top off of the tcs module to disconnect the cc cable in order to have enough room to disconnect the other end of the cc cable from the cc module in the driver front fender area.
