Default Quick AMW catch can question....

I just installed the catch can, ran the hoses, but have 1 question before I start her up. The hose that has the PCV valve in it that goes to the top, do I take out the PCV valve, and just use the supplied hose to slip over the factory plastic hose, and run that to the top of the can, OR retain the PCV valve, and use the supplied hose to slip over the PCV valve (3/8 nipple on the valve) and then run the supplied hose to the top of the can? I read, and re-read the instuctions, and nowhere does it say to use the PCV valve.
Thanks

You do not remove the PCV, connect the 3/8" hose to the PCV and run the hose to the top of the catch can.

If you dont remove the PCV valve, how do I keep it in that rubber boot? Everytime I go to move it, it slides right out.....
