Oil Dipstick Question
Has anyone else had a hard time replacing there oil dipstick?? I have broken two of them trying to install them!! I now have a stock one, can anyone tell me if there is something I am doing wrong. What tubes is it supposed to go through in order to bolt up, I have BBK shorty headers.

When I removed mine (and it was really stubborn), part of it broke off in the block, and I didn't know it...
When I reinstalled it, I had to get it started, then tap it the rest of the way into the block. I tapped it on the bulge where it goes into the block.
And the broken off piece proceeded to fall into the oilpan at that point.... :lol
Luckily it was steel and rolled over and stuck to the magnetic drain plug.

Yeah they are easy to install just put it in where the bolt hole is and line it up with the hole in the block. If you are having that much trouble just get a buddy to help you. Get under the car and guide him in the hole. LOL! That sounds gay but it is not meant to be so be careful which buddy you get to come help you . Good luck!
