Remember - State inspectors are dumb and are paid ****.
You need to drop a $20 bill on the ground where the inspectors are checking your car. Ask them if that is their money that fell on the ground? Make sure you tell them you bought the car from a nun who told you the car was 100% stock.
If this does not work, move to Texas.

If Cali uses the OBD II test under the dash, you can get an EPA based scanning software like Ease or Auto Ingenuity and run a scan and compare to the CAli standards before the test. These scanners give you the same info, and much more, that the smog board is looking for. More than one modded car has been tuned to pass the smog test.

Here in Calif. your "enhanched areas" will need to plug into your ALDL and run it on the dyno.......the test doesn't miss much and if the "readyness" indicators are not set it'll kick it out too.

You seem to know what your talkin about.....I have a question:
What happens if you have LS1-edited your PCM? Will the state be able to tell? What if I flash it back to the original program?
