Installing Patriot Golds .... Larry tool?

Was wondering if anyone has used the "Larry" style valve spring tool to install Patriot Golds. Did you have a problem getting the bigger keepers in?

Used a homemade Larry tool. I highly recommend it. I don't know if it was my ghetto tool or what, but the only tough thing was getting the spring centered just right around the valve to get the locks in.
