Doh. Figures I bought mine two weeks ago.
I read elsewhere that you did some updates to your designs? If so, do the ST3 LS6 heads I purchased from Combination Motorsports about two weeks ago have these changes? My heads were the ones ordered w/ the REV valves, if that helps.
Those prices are awesome, BTW.

if you could sell those heads at those prices, with the upgraded components that would be insane. i've not been keeping up with the patriot drama, but i would like to think you've worked out the previous bugs? any comments to that effect Gunnar?

Those are great prices, and I like the get um at the stage you want option!! I think Patriot is determined to be a factor in the ls1 head market.
Did you guys see the article in the latest Chevy High Performance on Patriot"s heads and cam package?BTW to guys that disagreed with me on a stock ls1 being 400+ hp with lt headers, the stock ls1 with headers made 428 fwhp. With the Patriot LS6 style heads and their new 226 cam it made like 536 fwhp.I think they added a FAST tb.Those are pretty good gains!!

Actually it made 522 with the LSX and TB. Thats not even 100FWHP gain... Not too impressive if you ask me considering most sponsors setups are breaking 100+ RWHP with similar setups. I honestly feel bad for people who read that article and dont know any better.........

The heads I have I don't think are that bad. With my new tranny and with it tuned now I don't have any dyno numbers but will have some track times tomorrow if the weather holds out. I do have the REV valves and Terry did my heads himself I guess but I am very pleased with the performance I have gotten out of my heads for the money spent. I managed to run a 12.10 114mph with no tune and a tranny that I had to let of for it to shift each time so they can't be to bad. I guess tomorrow will tell the real story. If the car runs a mid 11@118 or better n/a I will be real happy if not well they might be getting sold to a local guy

Aright kids, leave the phuckin horse alone. It's dead. It's been dead...You beat it to death long ago...Give it a rest...
It says nowhere in their advertising that they're the best heads on the market. They aren't claiming anything more than 'best value'. They're definitely worth such an insane low price. That's half the price of most available. What do you expect? Hell, if they only put out half the power as others, you're getting your money's worth. If they were trying to 'get out of the business', they obviously wouldn't have gone through all the trouble of redesigning anything, nor would they be in any catalog.
Just a tad ridiculous don't you think?

I like the $279.50 price for their Valve Springs (which a lot of people seem to love). I need some for my FM9 cam! But I agree with NoseUpChromeDown, the Patriot bashing is getting old! If you don't like their product, then don't buy. If they are that bad then they won't be in business very long, right?
