M6 going from stock 3.42 10 bolt to Strange 12 bolt with 4.10s.
LT Headers/cam/TB/pullies/tuning - about 50 RWHP
Heads/intake/tuning - about 50 more RWHP
Given financial constraints the above describes my upgrade plans over the next 2 years. The 12 bolt was ordered last Friday. Which of the 3 phases of upgrades will give me the most SOTP gains. This is mainly a street car with rare visits to the track. I've been told that drag strips=divorce court.

If youre limited on money a used tr224 cam and headers is the way to go. The engine will pick up a lot of hp and torque and be fun to drive even with 3.42 gears. The 12 bolt is kinda overkill on the street unless you plan on launchin at 5k with heated drag tires. Also the added torque from cam and headers will make the car feel like it has more gear and have a hard time hookn in first gear.

That sucks. Ive been babying mine but its still on the way out. Its starting to howl on decel. Got a couple of years out of it I guess. I really dont want to spend the money to upgrade ($2500+) with suspension parts.
What are you lookn to do? Just have some fun or are you a street racer? I spent about $1000 in parts and went from a 13.29 @107 to 12.50s 115. It could go a lot quicker but dont want to spend the money. Anyways cam and headers are the best bang for the buck and make the car fun to drive.
