Question This seems odd to me......

Noticed two strnage things today. one of my DRL's on my firebird is out....ok no big deal replace the bulb right? well if i turn the headlights on the faulty DRL operates fine....a bit dim, but fine.

Secondly, it seems my right turn signal blinker no longer blinks... i turn on the blinker and it sits solidly lit up both in dash and taillight itself. Was working fine yesterday.....

Does any of this seems strange to anyone else? Just wanted to run it by any readers and seee what you might think.

check the fuse box right by your left leg by the door, if it ain't the fuse there the relays are under the hood right in front of the driver, just check wich one it is, (as soon as you open the fuse box under the hood you'll know how to check) well find the relay for the lights or the dash or what ever just look at the lavel for the one you might think it is, then drive to a/z and by a new one. if that don't work then repost and we'll take it from there.

ps: there are two boxes under the hood

If one side works fine and the other doesnt, its not the flasher. The same flasher operates both sides. A bulb is out somewhere. Turn on the Hazards (its a separate flasher unit) and look for a bulb that is not flashing. The DRLs and the Taillights have dual-filament bulbs, that is why they may work when using the key fob but not when signaling. Locking/unlocking flashes the dimmer fillament. The signals flash the brighter filament.

Just replace the bulb......it is a dual filament bulb and the high(brighter) side is out. Nothing complex just a bad bulb .
