Default LS2 coils much better!

Well in the new GM High-Tech they said "they are more efficient and require less energy to produce the same spark as previous design"

So do they fit ls1 cars and does anyone have any more info on this?

LS1's are know for misfires stock and there have been posts of the fast,gen7,bs3 guys having spark problems!

I really doubt there would be any performance benefit. The only way I would expect to see any performance benefit from an upgraded ignition system is to use one that can shoot multiple sparks to prevent misfires.

Some GM coils are hotter than others.

I run truck coils on my car, the ones without the heat sink.

Well I was going to order the truck coils for my DFI/ turbo car! Heard they are like $160 but them I thought if the LS2 coils are "so much better why not?

I guess no one know. Too new?
