Default comp 921 springs?

Are these springs as good as the crane duals or the pp gold duals? I got a real good deal on the 921's. I just don't see many people using them.

They are just as good, some might even say they are better than the other springs you mentioned. The reason you don't see many guys running them is because they are VERY pricey. I think the complete kit goes for $500.00.

The 921s were my first choice until everyone on this site steered me in the direction of the PP Golds. I hope I don't regret not buying the 921s

The 921s, PP golds, and PRCs are all great springs. The only thing that separates them are price, not quality. I am a Comp man myself but hate that they are over 500 bucks and the others are under 300.

Alot of the guys on Z06vette.com use the 921 springs. The vette guys have a thing for them. I think its a good spring but you might get a better value with others.

the 921's are excellent...much better than the crane...equal to the lsi...never use the manleys...i have no experience with LS1/LS6 based motors, only with big old dual dom BBC's...my cam specs exceeded .900 lift & over 300 duration

We stock both the 921s & the PRC double spring kits. The PRC gold spring kit features titanium retainers specific to only the gold spring. It is designed for use with stock gm locks & includes new spring seats & new seals for $289! It's definately a cheaper than a 921 kit, but both setups work great!

Put in the 921's when I installed the TRex. Figured for the price they got to be as good or BETTER than anything out there! (Yes, I am one of those Z06vette,com guys in love with the 921's)

Not sure how much extra safety or durability I got for the money, but I am satisfied with the choice.

No issues so far after about 3000-4000 miles.

I had a set of 921's come with my new stage 3 heads...you wouldnt believe the low pressure these new springs had....both on the seat and off the seat was too low for the cam i was going to use......check those pressures! Wash
