light green spark plug residue

Default light green spark plug residue

what does this mean? when i puled the stock plugs they had white resadue, which i thought was normal, but now i have this light green/lime green residue on the tip part??? any ideas?

Can't really help ya with this one.. The link below helps you know what your plugs are tellin you, but it doesn't mention anything about green residue.

nope, i'm just running premium, 93 octane, i'll pull some more today and check them out. i tried taking a pic but you cant see the green part due to a cheap digi camera.

the greenish tint is normal, from the oxidizers used in fuel for better mileage, cleaner burn. No issues with it, just make sure there is no chalky white powder, ie Lean burn.
