Broke Crank Pulley
Well one of the tabs that you put the arms of the puller on broke off, the pulley is still on the car. I need suggestions, I know it will screw the pulley up but my best option right now seems to be getting a big puller and pulling from the outside of the pulley. The pulley is still pretty far on there so I dont think I could pry it off. Any suggestions are appreciated. Also I heard that there is a special tool for the pulley on ls1's could I use that or does that hook to the tabs as well?

oh. well since you're not going to be reusing the pulley now you might as well just go with the bigger puller idea, you could always use the outer lip but it may break it off there as well. are you installing an ASP pulley?

Damn I wish you were in southern Cali, but I guess I can try to rent one from somewhere. Any other ideas, what about this special tool I keep hearing about? Has anyone ever used one before? Will it work in my situation, with a tab being broke off? The car is on al ift costing me 4 dollars an hour, so I am up for anything right now
