Default header/stock y-pipe question

can the stock Y-Pipe be modified to fit long tube headers? I want to keep the cats, but an extra $350 for a catted Y is a bit too much right now for me.

thanks
Ron

pretty sure that the answer is NO. you can keep your collector, but your cats WILL be moved with LTs.

Yeah, the cats are not part of the Y-pipe but
separate. Replacement cats are a relatively big
expense, more than the rest of the pipe. Check
Texas Speed's Y-pipe prices, the offroad is like
a hundred and change.
