Yeah the patriot golds are good to .650. He would be fine using those.

PRC (Precision Racing Components) dual springs which are good to .650" valve lift.

I just ordered a set myself from our sponsor, TSP, to replace my 2 year old REV springs.

If you call TSP they seem to like the Percision Duals, I have the set as well. $289 for the dual springs, titanium retainers, new seats, GM seals. I thought I read they were good to .660, but close enough neither of us will need that much anyway.

Like said above, the PRC's are good to a .660 lift and generally about $10 cheaper than the PP golds. I'll be running the PRC's on my heads.

690 lift???? Wow!! I have the Patriots and I'm happy as I can be. My MPH didn't change in the least as I was worried they were stiffer than the Rev's.

PRC does not make Patriot's springs. Both companies offer a great spring kit & you can't go wrong with either setup!

We offer the PRC kits designed to fit stock locks! Alot of customers have requested kits that use GM locks so that's the way this kit was designed.

The PRC titanium retainers will not fit Crane springs however. The PRC kits retainers were designed to only fit PRC springs in a effort to make a great fit!

Here's a pic of the kit!

which of those sprign kits has the internal steps on the retainer radius to the same edge as the spring coil? What the most aggresive cam/lobe setups run without problem on each of these to date?

just like Comp said 918s are good to 650 lift... Im skeered of doing that.

.690 lift ?!?!? You may have to contact a sponsor directly. I've never even seen springs advertised that high.

the comp 921's are rated pretty high, after that i would say some work to the heads may be needed for a bigger spring

When it comes to springs and saving a couple of bucks, I say pay a little extra and get the protection and durability from a set of Comp 921's.

"It's either pay me now or pay me later, which would you rather do!!!"

Seriously, I don't know if there is a dollar's worth of difference between them, but I'm banking on the Comp's living up to their price!!
