19s are as big as you should go, 20s dont look right.. too big. Not to mention your car will never get traction.

I have 20's and they fit good. Look good too, i think i would rather have 19's though. You dont get 19's or 20's for drag racing so talking about traction is irrelevent. You will have plenty on the street; i have more than when i those light *** 16's... I dont have any pics on my computer but you could search and possibly find my car diffently others on this site that have 20's and 19's.

I've had 20's on a Camaro, they looked good, always got compliments. However, definitely no traction with a 383 and throws your gearing off.

To each his own... I've seen a pic with of a Camaro with 20's and it didn't look too great in my opinion. It just doesn't look right with wheels that tall in my opinion.

It has to be lowered for sure. I have seen 17's that look horrible on f-body's.

Looked stupid? My 383 passing you up going sideways, now that would have looked stupid.

It would have, especially when somone pulls in front of, and you slam into them because your clown shoe 20's aren't allowing the brakes to work efficiently.

slammedam's wheels look badass, though I would not buy anything over 17". As for 20s on a Fbody They dont look right. they look too big and goofy, like clown shoes. Save them for the soccer mom SUV's. Just MO though.

Whoa, not my wheels. Read Sig. I wish they were though. You are right about staying with 17's for practicality and racing though. I will probably end up with the 17x9.5/11 TQII combo.

19s are the largest you can go before you start changing the overall height of the wheel / tire combo. I have 19s all the way around and love the look, especially with the car lowered, but I also loved the look of the car with the chrome 17" zr1s I had, but just wanted something different.

Here's a quick peak at my setup...

20s are way too big. Hell, 19s are way too big, but it's your car, so do what you want. If you get 20s for the rear, please at least get 19s for the front. This is the only car I've seen that looked decent with 20s in the rear, and he has 19s in the front.

I wonder if the old crackster still has this car. Does anyone know?
