Default 17"s and 18"s

Im getting Torq Thrust IIs in the black with chrome lip for my T/A. Im debating on the size i should get. I know the width im going with, 9.5 up front and 10.5 out back. I don't know if i should go with 17 or 18 or maybe 17 up front and 18 out back. The car is not lowered and will never be, so im thinking the 18s will raise up the car a bit, but will fill the wheel well better.

17x10.5 (if they make those, mine are 17x11) with 305 or 315 tires. They'll definately fill the wheel wells, when I get pics this weekend, i'll be sure and post up and show you.

hmm.. I will probably go with tq2's myself. I've never seen the 17/18 combo though. The 17=9.5/11 combo is awesome. Can't go wrong with the fat meats..and the 17's are better for racing. I don't think they make a tq2 in 17x10.5....I might be wrong tho.
But 18x10.5's all around look BAD A$$...they fit the T/A wheel well perfectly with a slight drop. But I feel bad for giving up that .5 inches in the rear!

how much drop would there be with the 18s and a 1.2in eibach pro-kit?, or a 2in lowering?

When it comes to deciding what size you want, it comes down to what kind of ride do you want. 17's are more comefortable than 18's. This is because the sidewall is smaller on the 18's. Also the 18's are not that much heavier than the 17's. Besides, the overall tire diameter is the same for both if they are 275's or 285's. The only difference is the sidewall. So basically you have to decide which one you like better and how much money you want to spend.

I am thinking about the Torque Thrust II and I think I am gonna go with 17's since they have them in stock. If you go 18's they have to be made custom and cost quite a bit more.
