Default Emblem question

I'm sure this has been asked before, but what is the best way to remove the stock Z-28 emblems so that I can paint them? Thanks.

Use a heat gun (hairdryer) to heat up the glue then take some fishing line and it should come off fairly easy. Then spray some adhesive remover to clean up the glue thats left on your car.

Killer, the adhesive remover won't harm the paint on the car will it? I'm guessing that I can put them back on with spray adhesive. Thanks.

Your paint will be fine as long as you clean it all off and make sure to wax the area as the adhesive remover will also remove the wax. I use paint thinner in these situation for years with no troubles!!

We can also use dental floss to break the adhesive keeping emblems on the car.
