Interesting. Why round-and-plate vs a hogged-back
piece of billet? Do you think the blind bolts (?) from
behind the plate into aluminum threads are up to the
job?

Looks pretty but what are the benfits to this set up? Does it set the motor lower in the engine compartment? I could see that as a plus but te downside would be that this would reduce the amount of header options one could have with the problems alot of us run into with ground clearence.

If it was low enough to fit a Magnusson under the F-body
cowl, now....

I know this looks like a custom-frame Nova, but just saying.

Everyone needs to remember this is not an F-body application. I have no rules to follow..

Jimmy, the round to flat plate will most likely also get welded at the ends. This was just the prototype to start out with and to get accurate dimensions back to the frame. Wait until you guy's see the frame to mount bracket! These mounts will need to deal with 1000-1200 FWHP.

The motor placement in this project locates the motor back to where the two rear cylinders are under the firewall. When using a C5 front suspension, you need to get the harmonic balancer centered over the center line of the wheel hubs. I also lowered it to move the center of gravity for better weight distribution.
