Default 4l60e: "Corvette servo"?

Hi,

I have a 2002 ss w/ a 4l60e and I had problems with the 1-2 shift, so after reading a bunch of threads here, and talking to a transmission guy, I put in a larger reverse boost valve, turned the EPC 1/8th turn (which resulted in 205 PSI at WOT), replaced the 4th gear servo with a "super servo", and replaced the fluid with redline racing ATF.

Now the 1-2 shift is fine, but in 4th when I accellerate even lightly it slips.

I suspect that the problem is the 4th gear super servo. The instructions said something like "fits up to 1999 4l60", and I've got a 2002. Anybody have any input?

I'm thinking of replacing it with a "corvette servo", but it seems odd, since corvettes and f-bodies both have the LS1 and a 4l60e, it seems that corvettes and f-bodies would both have the same servo. Do these cars already come stock with the corvette servo?

Steve

Thanks much.

Do you think my 4th gear slip problem could be from using a servo that "fits up to 1999 4l60" in my 2002 trans?
